“Shock & Oar” The team Shockwave plan for the first season (2009) was to get out onto the water, have fun and try not to look totally inept. Well, they managed the ‘fun’ part!

2010 sees team Shockwave sharper than ever, they have altered and better tuned the rig but more importantly… they have finally read the instructions on how to sail the boat!

The team's dream ticket is to make Shockwave the fastest Sonata in the SYC fleet and to be doubly sure they can achieve their goal this year team Shockwave have fully serviced the boat trailer and bought a turbo Mitsubishi to tow it with!
