Scarborough Harbour

The harbour is well protected from the North by the imposing castle headland; Scarborough is an ancient port and a major resort. The old harbour now offers floating pontoon berths to visitors, whereas the East harbour completely dries out. Shelter is good but the harbour is dangerous to approach in large seas from the East and Southeast.
