18th May 2008 SPORTSBOATS AND COASTAL RACES
Owners of sportsboats are reminded that to be eligible for SYC coastal races, competing yachts must be equipped with pulpit and guardrails.This was discussed at the committee meeting on 16th May where it was agreed that there should be no change to the current rule which has applied since 2007.
AUTOPILOTS
In addition, it was agreed that for the time being, autopilots may be used in all coastal races and the North Sea Race.
